«ΤΟ ΖΉΤΗΜΑ ΤΟΥ ΠΡΟΣΔΙΟΡΙΣΜΟΎ ΤΗΣ «ΠΕΡΙΟΧΉΣ» ΣΤΗΝ ΕΘΝΟΛΟΓΙΚΉ ΈΡΕΥΝΑ. Η ΠΕΡΊΠΤΩΣΗ ΤΩΝ ΣΕΡΡΏΝ»

Από τους ομόκεντρους κύκλους του Thunnen, μέχρι τις νεώτερες προσεγγίσεις του Weber και του Losch αλλά και του Boudeville, η Οικονομική του Χώρου και η Περιοχική Οικονομική, επιχειρούν να προσδιορίσουν την έννοια της περιοχής, δεδομένου ότι η Γεωγραφική Περιοχή, η Διοικητική Περιοχή, η Προγραμματική Περιοχή κλπ δεν συμπίπτουν αναγκαστικά. Ιδιαίτερα στην Εθνογραφική Έρευνα το πρόβλημα προσδιορισμού της «περιοχής» παρά τις μελέτες του B. Braudel για την Μεσόγειο, είναι οξύτερο.

Από την μελέτη διαπιστώνεται ότι η περιοχή Σερρών, παρά αλλά και λόγω των ιδιαιτέρων γνωρισμάτων, αποτελούσε και αποτελεί μια ιδιαίτερη περιοχή ως αντικείμενο εθνογραφικής, εθνολογικής και λαογραφικής μελέτης.

«The issue of determining the “region” in the ethnographic research. The case of Serres»

Starting of the theory of concentric circles Thunnen, until the newer approaches of Weber and Losch, but also” les poles de croissance” Boudeville, the Regional and Space Economics, attempt to define the concept of the region, since the Geographical area or Administrative region or the Programmatic area ,etc, not necessarily coincide. Especially in ethnographic research the problem of determining "region" despite the studies of B. Braudel on the Mediterranean, something that is crucial.
In our study it is realized that the region of Serres, despite and because of its specific characteristics, was in the past and continues to been a particularly interesting region as a subject for the ethnographic, ethnological and folklore studies
